peculiar

as in peculiar to me,

because I don’t like the term “personal” to describe my work, I take it all very personally.

Conglomerate

Conglomerate is defined as a number of smaller distinct parts forming a unified and stronger whole.
I have days when I feel stretched, grounded, balanced, tall, fat, flat, effervescent, wrung out and so on, I’m a conglomerate of all these.
Communities are formed of diverse experience, cultural breadth and unique visions, negotiating their place in complex relationships to form cohesive networks.
So it is with these shapes, materials and surfaces that at first glance seem to repel each other or at least not be conducive to mutual support however form greater more complex and interesting wholes.
In this way I see them as both a depiction of society and a picture of myself.

Central Australia

I walked around but didn’t climb, far too important.

Stillenacht/Silent Night

An exploration of the line and form in infrastructure projects, shot a night to reduce visual clutter.

footy kids

I love silhouettes, the ability to tell a story with minimal detail.
